Cara Power

Cara is a passionate and sought-after coach, trainer, and consultant who takes pride in her ability to create swift, lasting transformations in her client’s lives. From newly minted, first-time managers to C-Suite executives, Cara’s energy, enthusiasm, and action-oriented style inspire her clients to become the most-effective and authentic versions of themselves—both personally and professionally. She accomplishes this by applying evidence-based coaching and positive psychology principles to uncover and overcome limiting beliefs that unwittingly hold people back. Borrowing proudly from the Growth Mindset research of Dr. Carol Dweck, Cara’s approach reveals the intimate relationship between beliefs, actions, and results… and highlights people's ever-present ability to achieve desired goals by changing their mindset. This approach results in more-effective leadership presence, higher resilience, and greater professional impact and influence.

Throughout her career Cara has been an Executive Director, Board Member and enthusiastic volunteer for high level nonprofits such as the American Cancer Society, Blood Cancer Untied, God's Love We Deliver and Savvy Ladies. Before becoming a coach, Cara worked with marketing teams in the Telecommunications and Financial Services industries. She’s also worked in business development and recruiting in Information Technology and Legal Services, and as the Executive Director of a women’s empowerment non-profit organization. She is a graduate of George Mason University (MAT) and American University (BSBA). She is an iPEC-certified professional coach, a certified Positive Psychology Practitioner, a certified Health & Wellness Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a certified MBTI Practitioner.
